LOMA, Colo. – A six-member squad will represent Sun Devil Triathlon at this weekend’s Desert’s Edge Collegiate Cup, which will be hosted by Colorado Mesa University and part of the weekend series at Highline Lake State Park.
The race, which starts at 7:30 a.m. MDT / 6:30 a.m. MST on Sunday, Sept. 27, will consist of a 750-meter win, 20K bike ride – with drafting being legal – and a 5K run.

Alessandri was an eighth-place finisher (31:45) during Arizona State’s season-opening win at the Southern Hills Super Sprint in Hot Spring, S.D. on Saturday, Sept. 5. De Koning finished the same race in 14th with a 32:17.
Brinkmann (33:10), Sraka (33:19), Macdonald (33:26), Kovak (33:42) and Rysavkova (34:47) all posted sub-35:00 finishing times in South Dakota as well.
