TEMPE – Emilija Tverijonaite will be competing in the ITA Women’s All-American Championships taking place in Cary, North Carolina.
In this tournament, ten singles players will qualify for the NCAA Singles Championship coming from the quarterfinals and two feed-in consolation finalists.
Tverijonaite is the only member of the team competing this year in the annual event while other members of Women’s Tennis will be playing at the SoCal Championships hosted by San Diego later this week.
As a junior, Tverijonaite was named Big 12 Player of the Year last season and helped the Sun Devils win their first conference championship in program history, clinching a share of the regular season title in a year where ASU went 20-6 and 11-2 in conference play.
The senior currently has a career high singles ranking at No. 16 to begin the 2026-27 season according to the ITA Preseason Rankings.
Last season, she became the sixth Sun Devil to win 30+ matches in a season with 32 wins and recorded the second-most singles wins by a Sun Devil last year as a junior.
