More than football. More than a game.

Sun Devil Football understands that wearing the maroon and gold is more than representing a team—it is representing a university, a community and a legacy. Every time they step into the community, they know they carry the responsibility to lead with humility, serve with purpose and inspire through our actions.

Community service is not an obligation, it is an opportunity. The Sun Devils know it is a chance to build relationships, earn trust, and positively impact the lives of others while growing as leaders, teammates, and men.

"Being just a football player can never be enough” is a motto the team embraces.

St. Mary's Food Bank – Turkey Drive

Student-athletes donated more than $15,000 to support the annual Turkey Drive and volunteered alongside St. Mary's Food Bank to distribute Thanksgiving meals to hundreds of local families, helping ensure they could enjoy a holiday meal together.

Inclusive Sports Foundation – Sports Day

In partnership with the Inclusive Sports Foundation (ISF), Sun Devil Football hosted more than 100 children with special needs from school districts across the Valley for a fun-filled day of sports, games, and personal interaction. The event promoted inclusion, confidence, and lasting memories for every participant.

Pat's Run

During the annual Pat's Run, Sun Devil Football was on hand to sign autographs, take photos, and high five participants in the Kid's Run.

Feed My Starving Children
Student-athletes volunteered to pack thousands of nutritious meals that were distributed to children and families facing food insecurity around the world. This hands-on service project reinforced the importance of teamwork while making a global impact.

Phoenix Children's Hospital
Sun Devil Football players visited patients at Phoenix Children's Hospital, spending time in the Child Life Zone playing games, creating memorable experiences, and offering encouragement to children and their families during their hospital stay.

First Place (Phoenix)
Student-athletes connected with residents at First Place, participating in arts and crafts, card games, and meaningful conversations. These visits fostered friendship, inclusion, and community while providing an opportunity to learn from one another through shared experiences.
