The Sun Devil men's basketball team will play Oklahoma in Tulsa on Dec. 5, with ASU hoping to have the same success it dld last year vs. the Sooners.

ASU and the Sooners will play at the BOK Center, as last year in the Jerry Colangelo Classic on Dec. 6 in Phoenix, ASU topped the Sooners 86-70.

The Sun Devils (7-2) set the tone with a 27-2 first half run to build a massive lead over the Sooners (6-3) at the Mortgage Matchup Center. Arizona State handed Oklahoma its biggest non-conference loss (16 points) since a 22-point defeat to Xavier on Dec. 9, 2020.

ASU is 9-2 in neutral site regular season games the past two seasons, including wins over NCAA Tournament teams Santa Clara (Las Vegas) and Texas (Maui) last season.

ASU has won neutral site games in Las Vegas, Maui, Phoenix, Springfield (MA), Palm Desert (CA), and New York the past four seasons, going 13-6 in that time.
