TEMPE - On Wednesday, Sun Devil Lacrosse Head Coach Taryn VanThof Puls announced the addition of Emma Talago, a graduate transfer attacker who is set to join the 2027 Sun Devil squad. She will make her debut in Tempe in the fall after spending four seasons at Loyola University Maryland.
“After graduating a strong senior attacking class in 2026, I am excited for the experience that Emma will bring to the Sun Devils as a fifth year,” said VanThof Puls.
In four seasons at Loyola, Talago had a breakout 2025 season as a junior where she started in all 20 games and ranked second on the team in assists (21) and fifth in points (39).
As a senior in 2026, Talago notched 29 goals and 16 assists and had a hat trick in five games, starting all 20 for the Greyhounds. Her 29 goals were tied for third on the team
She will join eight incoming freshman set to make their Maroon and Gold debut in the fall.
