TEMPE – Representing Sun Devil Beach Volleyball, sophomore Zoë Taylor was named to the 2026 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Women’s At-Large Team after a successful year both in the sand and in the classroom.
This was Taylor’s first academic all-district nod. For the Sand Devils, this was the second year in a row with an all-district recognition after Tori Clement was on the list last season. This is the fourth academic all-district honor in program history.
To be nominated for an all-district award, student-athletes must be a starter or important reserve with at least a 3.5 cumulative GPA (on a 4.0 scale). Academic All-District honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. First- and second-team academic All-America honorees will be announced in late December. The award was previously from CoSIDA, but the organization recently changed its name to College Sports Communicators. For the complete all-district list, head to CSC's website.
Taylor had a breakout year in 2026, going 19-12 and playing primarily on court three. She played in almost every dual and primarily played on court three with Arden Besecker. She then ended the year with Layla Williams on court five.
