BALTIMORE - On Friday, IL Women announced its 2026 All-Americans and Sun Devil Lacrosse's Anna Viglione received an honorable mention nod as a draw specialist.
Viglione was tabbed as the 2026 Big 12 Draw Specialist of the Year and ended her junior campaign with a program-record 218 draw controls, passing the 2025 record 215 that she set as a sophomore. She boasted double-digit draw controls in 10 games and led the conference with six weekly draw specialist honors.
Her 12.11 draw controls per game mark was the best in the nation, and no other player averaged over 12 per game. She finished 20 draw controls shy of the NCAA lead, however the leader played in two additional games to finish with 238.
She was also a member of the 2026 All-Big 12 Team this season. The junior also scored her only goal of the season - and first since 2024 - against SDSU on April 18 following an IL Women Midseason All-American nod.
Prior to the season, Viglione was recognized as the Big 12 Preseason Draw Specialist of the Year, USA Lacrosse Preseason All-American Second Team, and named to the Preseason All-Big 12 Team.
She adds to her postseason accolades that include IWLCA All-Region First Team and USA Lacrosse All-American Second Team.
