GAINESVILLE, Fla. - Sun Devil Lacrosse (8-10, 3-2 Big 12) kept it close, but ultimately fell 13-7 to No. 14 Colorado (12-3, 4-1 Big 12) in the semifinal round of the Big 12 Tournament on Thursday evening at Dizney Stadium.

Against Colorado's Elena Oh - the 2026 Big 12 Goalie of the Year - ASU managed seven goals and held her to her lowest saves percentage (12.5%) in a single game this season. The Sun Devils managed just 14 shots, but scored on half of them.

With the 2026 season coming to an end, ASU send off a senior class that is forever etched in the recordbooks. Attackers Lydia Oldknow and Teagan Ng each netted two goals, and end their careers in the Maroon and Gold atop the program's goal-scoring recordbooks, Ng at one (183) and Oldknow at two (181).

How it happened
The first quarter saw just four goals scored, after last week's contest between the two teams. Lydia Oldknow was the lone goal scorer for ASU, and it came with nine seconds remaining on the clock. The Sun Devils trailed 3-1 after the first quarter of play.

ASU surrendered two goals to open the second before a three-goal run had ASU within one, 4-5. CU jumped on the next three goals and their lead was pushed back to four, 8-4 at halftime. At the half, all four of ASU's shots on goal were goals, Oh not registering a single save.

CU opened the third quarter with a goal, but a quick score from Teagan Lowery on a free position shot had the Sun Devils back within four scores, 9-5. Colorado netted their 10th and 11th goals in the final two minutes of the frame and the score through three was 11-5.

The Sun Devils scored the first two goals in the fourth quarter thanks to Ng and Addie Shevitz, and the score was 11-7 in favor of CU. The Buffaloes rattled off the next two goals to bump their lead up to 13-7 with six minutes left in the contest, and no further scoring meant the score stood final.
