GAINESVILLE - Sun Devil Lacrosse (8-9, 3-2 Big 12) opens the Big 12 Tournament with a contest against No. 14 Colorado (12-3, 4-1 Big 12) for the second time in as many games. After a loss to then-No. 15 CU last weekend, ASU enters the tournament as the three seed, while Colorado clinched the two seed. The semifinal game - which is a rematch of last year’s semifinal matchup for ASU - is slated for Thursday, April 30 at 4 p.m. MST and can be seen on ESPN+.

Last time ASU faced CU, Arizona State saw the worst margin of defeat in 2026, falling 19-5 to the Buffaloes in Boulder. In the loss, ASU took a season-low 12 shots and was held to just seven draw controls, marking the first time this year that ASU had been held to single digits.

All-time against CU, ASU is 4-10 and has lost five of the last six contests. The lone win came in last season’s Big 12 Semifinal meeting when ASU picked up an 18-12 victory behind Jordyn Behar’s program-record 12 points (4G, 8A).

ASU leads the Big 12 in assists per game (7.65) and draw controls per game (16.71). Behar’s 57 assists lead the Big 12, and her 3.35 assists per game is the fourth-best individual mark in the NCAA. Oldknow’s 57 goals lead the conference.

Ahead of the conference tournament on Thursday, the Big 12 Conference announced the year-end awards, which were highlighted by two major awards, a quartet of Sun Devils on the All-Big 12 Team, and two members on the All-Newcomer Team for Sun Devil Lacrosse.
