TEMPE - To open the final month of the regular season, No. 29 Sun Devil Men's Tennis (14-8, 1-3 Big 12) will face No. 66 Texas Tech (12-8, 2-3 Big 12) on Friday, April 3 at 4 p.m. MST in Lubbock before heading to Stillwater to take on No. 38 Oklahoma State (14-7, 1-3 Big 12) on Sunday, April 5 at 12 p.m. MST.
The Sun Devils checked in at No. 29 in this week's ITA Team Polls, and have one lone ranked singles player in No. 69 Bor Artnak. The team is one win shy of hitting the 15 mark on the year. On the road, ASU is 2-3, and both wins came over then-top-10 San Diego.
Texas Tech is 12-8 on the year and owns an impressive 10-1 record at home this season when playing at McLeod Tennis Center. Against ranked teams, they are 2-5 with wins over No. 63 BYU and no. 36 Oklahoma State. They do not have a top-30 win this season, and do not have a singles player or doubles pair ranked in this week's ITA rankings.
Oklahoma State has matched ASU's win total with a 14-7 record this spring and is also 1-3 in Big 12 conference contests. At home in Stillwater, the Cowboys are 11-1, and their lone loss came to No. 8 Baylor last weekend in the 4-1 defeat. Against ranked opponents, OSU is 3-5 with wins against No. 48 Memphis, No. 14 San Diego, and No. 40 Penn.
