ORLANDO - No. 30 Sun Devil Men's Tennis (17-10, 4-4 Big 12) could not defeat No. 14 UCF (20-5, 5-3 Big 12) in Thursday's Big 12 Tournament quarterfinal at USTA National Campus, which was a rematch of the regular-season finale just days ago. ASU fell 4-0 on Thursday, days after a 4-3 defeat came down to a three-set thriller against the Knights.
After losing the doubles point, ASU saw three straight-set losses to end their Big 12 Tournament run. The Sun Devils nearly had two points on the board at the time of the match's abandonment, as Bondaz and Matsuoka were up in their second sets after set-one victories.
