IRVING, Texas – On Wednesday, the Big 12 Conference announced the lacrosse weekly awards of the season for week nine, and Sun Devil Lacrosse had a trio of players securing honors. Regan Spichiger (goalie), Anna Viglione (draw specialist), and Addy Westerberg (freshman) were the group recognized following last week's win.

Last week, ASU ended the 2026 home slate on a high note, beating UC Davis (7-6, 2-1 Big 12) 19-11. Viglione notched another record-breaking performance after tallying 23 draw controls, a single-game individual program record and career-high mark for the junior. She led ASU to outdrawing the Aggies 28-4, which was also a program record for most draw controls in a single game. This marks her fifth Draw Specialist of the Week honor this season. She has the best individual draw control per game mark (13.64) in the NCAA and also leads the NCAA in draw controls with 191.

Following a career-high, three-goal performance, freshman midfielder Addy Westerberg was named Big 12 Freshman of the Week for the first time this season, marking her first career conference honor. She became the fifth Sun Devil to record a hat trick this season in the win (Behar, Ng, Shevitz, Oldknow).

Finally, Regan Spichiger was tabbed with her second Big 12 Goalie of the Week honor of the season following a 10-save performance against the Aggies that led her to pick up the win. She had the most saves amongst Big 12 goalies last week and also saw the most shots. Saturday was her fifth game with double-digit saves in 2026.

ASU now has 12 weekly honors this season, following Teagan Ng (attacker), Jordyn Behar (attacker), Gabriella Henry (freshman), and Averie Cage (freshman), who have been recognized by the Big 12 this season.
