The ninth-ranked Sun Devil men's golf team -- sans Fifa Laopakdee who was competing in the Masters -- finished second at its Thunderbird Collegiate that finished Satuday afternoon.
No. 20 New Mexico took top team honors with a 32-under 820 (270-274-276) with ASU finishing four strokes back at 28-under 824 (268-282-274).
Sun Devil freshman Boston Bracken had a solid tournament as he tied for second at 11-under 202 (64-72-66) as New Mexico's Johnnie Clark took home medalist honors with a 13-under 199 (67-66-66). It marked his second top-five finish on the year, as he also finished second at the 80-player Oregon State Invitational on Oct. 14-15 in Salem.
Junior Connor Williams continued his solid play with another top-10 finish, as he tied for fourth at 10-under 203 (67-69-67).

The Sun Devils now head to the Big 12 Championship presented by Allstate April 27-29 at Prairie Dunes Country Club in Hutchinson, Kansas, with NCAA Regional action taking place May 19-21 at one of six sites: Athens (Georgia); Bermuda Run (North Carolina), Bryan (Texas), Columbus (Ohio), Corvallis (Oregon) and Tucson (Arizona). The NCAA Championhip is May 29-June 3.
