TEMPE – Sun Devil Hockey senior defenseman Tucker Ness has signed a contract with the Tahoe Knight Monsters, the ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey League’s Vegas Golden Knights
Ness played all four years in the Maroon and Gold, suiting up in 85 games and tallying six points in in his career.
The Plymouth, Minn. native netted his first collegiate goal on Dec. 27, 2025, vs. Dartmouth, and added his second goal on Jan. 23, 2026, against No. 4 North Dakota.
Ness is a two-way player, occasionally stepping up as a fourth-line winger while being typically penciled into the lineup as a defenseman. His game-winning goal against Dartmouth contributed to the team’s 5-1 win and Ness tallied 62 career blocks in his career.
Prior to joining Arizona State, Ness played in 104 games for the Waterloo Black Hawks of the USHL, where he put up 24 points
