WASHINGTON, DC - On Thursday, the Tewaaraton Foundation announced the second round of watch list additions, and Sun Devil Lacrosse's junior midfielder Anna Viglione was added to the list as a draw specialist. She is the first-ever Sun Devil to make the watch list for the nation's top award in the program's nine-year history.

Founded in 2001, The Tewaaraton Award annually honors the top male and female college lacrosse players in the United States. The selection committees are made up of premier collegiate coaches and are appointed annually by The Tewaaraton Foundation.

The field will be narrowed to 25 men and 25 women on April 16. Five men’s and five women’s finalists will be announced in early May. The Tewaaraton Award recipients will be chosen after the conclusion of the collegiate lacrosse season. The Finalists will be honored and this year’s recipients announced live on May 28 at the Tewaaraton Ceremony in Washington, D.C.

Through 11 games, Viglione leads the NCAA in total draw controls with 146, and owns the highest individual draw control per game mark at 13.27. This season, she's set ASU's individual single-game record with 21 draw controls against Niagara, and has outdrawn opponents 146-117.

After being named the unanimous 2025 Big 12 Draw Specialist of the Year, she was unanimously selected as the 2026 Big 12 Preseason Draw Specialist of the Year and has earned three Big 12 weekly awards.
