ANNAPOLIS, Md. - Sun Devil Lacrosse will take on its second ranked opponent of the season in No. 4 Navy, when it faces the Midshipmen on Tuesday, March 17, in Annapolis, Maryland. First draw from Navy-Marine Corps Memorial Stadium is slated for 1 p.m. MST and can be seen on ESPN+.

Tuesday marks the first time that the Sun Devils will face off against Navy in the all-time history between the two programs. ASU faced its first Patriot League opponent earlier this season after beating Bucknell in Tempe on March 8.

Sun Devil Outlook:
Lacrosse fell to Mercer on Sunday by a final score of 20-16 despite being tied at eight going into halftime. It was a third-quarter surge by the Bears that was the difference in the game and kept ASU winless on the road this season in two contests. The season-high three-game win streak was halted, as ASU dropped to 5-4 on the year.

ASU leads the Big 12 in assists per game (9.11), draw controls per game (19), and points per game (24.67). Behar’s 34 assists lead the conference, and Ng’s 33 goals are the second-best mark in the conference.

Scouting the Opponent:
Navy moved up to No. 4 in the polls, which is their season-high ranking in 2026. The Midshipmen have improved to 8-0 on the year and have four wins at home this season, including last week’s win over Bucknell, which gave Navy’s head coach her 600th career win.

Navy is led by Alyssa Chung, who has 28 goals on the year. Her 37 points also leads the team. In eight games, Navy has held opponents to just 66 goals, which is the 16th-best mark in the NCAA in scoring defense.
