TEMPE - Sun Devil Lacrosse will host Lindenwood on Saturday, February 15 for its second of seven straight home games at Sun Devil Lacrosse Stadium. First draw is slated for 12 p.m. MST, and fans can tune in to ESPN+ to watch. Saturday marks the first meetings between the two programs in ASU’s nine-year history.
Saturday's game is also Country Day out at SDL Stadium, and fans that arrive early will receive a pitchfork bandana.
ASU is looking for its first win of the season after dropping its first two contests against Oregon and No. 22 Denver. The Sun Devils come off a 2025 season in which the team went 7-2 at home, setting a single-season home win record while also setting single-game and overall attendance records in Tempe.
Sun Devil Outlook:
Last weekend against No. 22 DU, The Sun Devils fell 14-7, however there were bright spots as ASU out drew Denver 14-6, and freshman goalkeeper Gabriella Henry netted 11 saves in her relief appearance and collegiate debut.
Henry stopped six of eight free position shots that went her way en route to her .524 saves % on the day. For her efforts against Denver, she was named the Big 12 Freshman of the Week on Wednesday.
Scouting the Opponent:
Lindenwood is 0-3 to start the season with two of the three losses coming on the road. They are averaging over 10 goals a game, and will give ASU a run for its money in the draw circle, as the Lions have averaged 15.33 draw controls per game which is a top-20 NCAA nod.
Against ASUN opponents, ASU is 5-3 in the previous eight seasons.
Sun Devil notables
- Four freshmen have seen playing time for ASU: Averie Cage, Gabriella Henry, Addy Westerberg, and Ava Whitt.
- Ng claimed third place on the program’s all-time goal leaderboard with two scores on Sunday. She is 14 goals shy of typing the career goals record, which is 146 set by Kerri Clayton.
- Ng also pushed her goal-scoring streak to 21 games after her pair of scores against No. 22 Denver.
- Oldknow brings a 40-game point-scoring streak dating back to the 2024 season after two goals on Sunday. In 39 of those games, she’s scored a goal.
- Junior midfielder Anna Viglone is five draw controls shy of the 300 mark in her career.
