DALLAS - No. 22 Sun Devil Men's Tennis (9-2) took the match to the very end in the 4-3 loss to No. 4 Stanford (7-1), forcing a near upset following a third set on court five for all the marbles on day one of the ITA Indoor National Championship.
Despite the loss, ASU is guaranteed three matches and will face the tournament's host, SMU, on Saturday, Feb. 14 at 8 a.m. MST in the consolation bracket of the ITA Indoor National Championship.
