TEMPE – Showcasing the 2026 squad, Sun Devil Beach Volleyball will host its annual Maroon and Gold Scrimmage on Friday at 4 p.m. MST at the Sun Devil Beach Volleyball Facility.
This will be a free, advanced viewing of the 2026 team before the regular season begins Feb. 20, 2026. The team features 10 returners, seven of which played significant time last season, and seven newcomers. Pairs will face off in a dual-style scrimmage.

There will be no live scoring for the duals. Fans can also follow along on X (formerly Twitter) at @SunDevilBeachVB and on Instagram at @sundevilbeachvb for updates. For those attending, fans can bring their own chairs and/or blankets if they would like. There is seating available as well.
Team outlook
The team is led by third-year head coach Kristen Glattfelder. In 2025, the Sun Devils finished 22-14, breaking the program record in wins, and ended the year ranked No. 12 in the AVCA Coaches Poll.
