As ASU celebrates the cultures that shape its community, we’re spotlighting four international Sun Devils whose paths to Maroon and Gold began miles away: Ella Kettles (soccer, Canada), Lemerian Lemashon (track and field, Kenya), Miya Tirosh (water polo, Israel) and Ines Lopez Arias (track and field, Spain).
They reflect on why they chose ASU, what it means to represent their countries while competing as Sun Devils, and the familiar sights, sounds and traditions they carry with them from home.
