In its last contest, Dartmouth suffered its first loss of the season against New Hampshire in a 3-2 loss in overtime on Dec. 14.

The Big Green are tied for first in the ECAC standings with 18 points and a perfect 6-0-0 record. Quick hits

  • A win for the Sun Devils would mark their first win against Dartmouth and the team’s fourth top-10 win of the season. It would give the Big Green their first home loss of the season, snapping their 10-game home winning streak dating back to Feb. 22, 2025, against Union.
  • A victory against Dartmouth would be the first time winning two straight games over top-10 opponents on the road since sweeping No. 1 Denver on Nov. 22-23, 2024.
  • In the 6-3 win over No. 5 Minnesota Duluth, ASU’s first line — Bennett Schimek, Cruz Lucius, and Cullen Potter — combined for five goals and five assists for 10 points. The top line combined for a +14 plus/minus in the victory.
  • ASU is the only team in Division I to have two active skaters — Lucius and Schimek — with 100+ career points.
  • The Sun Devils rank fourth in the NCHC with 18 power play goals, including six goals coming on the man advantage in the last eight games.

  • Schimek’s five points tied an ASU record, joining Lukas Sillinger and Anthony Croston for most points in a game.
  • Schimek has recorded 27 points (nine goals and 18 assists) which is the most by a Sun Devil in a 19-game span to begin the season. Notably, his 27 points would be the most in a 20-game span in program history.

  • Lucius has had nine points (2G, 7A) in the last four games, contributing to three multi-point games where the Sun Devils have gone 3-0 in such games. His five power-play goals are tied for second in the NCHC conference.
