TEMPE – Sun Devil Water Polo announced its 2026 season schedule, which features five tournaments, three of which will be hosted at home at Mona Plummer Aquatic Center.

ASU opens the season on Jan. 18 with an exhibition matchup against the ASU men’s club water polo team before heading to its first tournament appearances later in January.
The regular season opens at home when the Maroon and Gold host the Malmstem Invitational at Mona Plummer Aquatic Center, Jan. 24-25. The teams set to face ASU in the Invitational are Cal Baptist, Loyola Marymount, McKendree, Michigan, and UC San Diego.
ASU will participate in the Triton Invitational hosted by UCSD Jan. 30-Feb. 1. Opponents and game times are TBD.
The Sun Devils return home Feb. 6–8 to host the ASU Invitational, the second of three home tournaments in 2026. The Invitational features Fresno State, Pacific, Marist, UC Santa Barbara, Cal Lutheran, and San Diego State.
The following week, Arizona State hosts its third and final tournament of the season, the Sun Devil Classic, spanning Feb. 14–15. The tournament includes matchups against La Verne, Biola, LIU, and Azusa Pacific, and wraps up non-conference play at home for the Sun Devils.
MPSF conference competition ramps up with a road matchup against reigning national champion Stanford on Feb. 21, followed by a trip to San Jose State on Feb. 22.
The following weekend, ASU welcomes California to Tempe on Feb. 28 in the first MPSF showdown in front of the home crowd of the season.
To wrap up regular-season tournament play, ASU will open the month of March in the Convergence Tournament in Claremont, California, March 6-7. Opponents and game times are TBD.
The Sun Devils wrap up the home slate hosting the 2025 runner-up, USC, on March 14, and will celebrate its seniors in a pregame ceremony. Following the contest, ASU will host its Alumni Game.
To conclude the regular season and MPSF conference play, ASU will face UCLA (Mar. 28) and Indiana (Apr. 3) on the road to secure MPSF tournament seeding.
The team will travel to Berkeley, California, for the MPSF Conference Tournament, April 10-12, hosted by California.
