TEMPE- Sun Devil Triathlon will race for the final time this season on Saturday, Nov. 8, when it hosts the 2025 Women’s Collegiate Triathlon National Championships at Tempe Town Lake. The seven Sun Devil racers suiting up this weekend are Naomi Ruff, Sidney Clement, Alex Campbell, Britney Brown, Zoe Mari Adam, Alice Alessandri, and Sonja De Koning. ASU’s "Heat A" is the last of three waves to race and will start at 3 p.m. MST with the award ceremony following at 5 p.m. MST.
The Sun Devils have been crowned National Champions seven times in the last eight seasons, falling to only the University of Arizona last season en route to a second-place finish in 2024.
The course
The route starts on North Shore Beach and features a 750 km swim in Tempe Town Lake, followed by a 20 km bike ride around the surrounding streets of Mill Avenue and Curry Road. Finally, the course wraps up with a 5 km run before crossing the finish line.

Parking
Please note there is ZERO parking directly at the race site. All parking is at least a 1/2 mile walk/ride to/from the race site. Be aware of bike course traffic closures and plan accordingly.
Best option: 0.8-mile walk to race site
Parking Garage on Rio Salado/Ash - 226 Ash Ave, Tempe, AZ 85281
Exit the garage by walking northbound on S. Ash Ave to Rio Salado Parkway. Take a right heading east, then turn left onto the Mill Ave Bridge. You are now on the sidewalk parallel to the bike course. Once you walk over the Mill Ave Bridge, you can walk down to the venue located on the lake. Please allow yourself 20 to 25 minutes for a walk and stay on the sidewalk at all times, as bike traffic is present on the roads.
Next-best option: 0.5-mile walk to race site
Tempe Town Lake Marina Parking Lot - 550 E Tempe Town Lake, Tempe, AZ 85281
This lot tends to fill up early in the day and can be tough to access because of bike course lane closures. The best way to access the Marina lot is from Rural Road or Scottsdale Road.
