IRVING, Texas – For the twenty-ninth consecutive season, Sun Devil Soccer has at least one student-athlete selected as an all-conference performer as the Big 12 Conference announced its honorees on Tuesday afternoon.

Tatum Thomason and Cameron Valladares, a pair of ASU seniors, were appointed to the All-Big 12 Second Team, while Addison Baltodano was selected to the Big 12’s All-Freshman squad. The three different honorees marked the most ever for the Sun Devils since joining the Big 12 and is the most since having three second-team selections following the 2023 campaign.

With Baltodano’s selection to the league’s all-freshman team, it marks the first time ASU has had a member of its conference’s all-freshman squad in back-to-back seasons in program history after Kierra Blundell was chosen in 2024.

Thomason, in her first season in Tempe after transferring from Washington, led all Sun Devils with seven goals and 18 points scored. The seven goals were two more than the next closest teammate (Sierra Bergen, 5), while her 18 points were three more than Valladares in second place. She also led the team with three game-winning goals and two penalty kick conversions. She finished the 2025 regular season with three matches in which she had both a goal and an assist, including one against conference foe UCF on Sept. 28.

In 19 matches played throughout the 2025 season, Valladares flirted with the program’s single-season assist record as the forward was credited with nine assists, one shy of tying the mark. She posted a two-assist performance at Texas State on Aug. 24 to start a streak of three consecutive matches with at least one assist. She also had assists against BYU, UCF and Texas Tech. Valladares also found the back of the net on the road at Texas on Aug. 21 and then, again, against the Cougars on Sept. 18.

During her first collegiate soccer season, Baltodano finished with 12 points, credited with six assists and scoring three goals, in 976 minutes played across 19 matches in 2025. It took her just three matches to score her first career goal after beating the goalkeeper in San Marcos during ASU’s 5-1 win at Texas on Aug. 24. She also posted a one goal, one assist match against UTEP (Sept. 12) and BYU (Sept. 18). She also became the program’s 40th all-time conference weekly award winner when she was selected as the Big 12’s Freshman of the Week on Sept. 17.
