TEMPE – Three pairs from Sun Devil Beach Volleyball won all three divisions over the weekend at the Sun Devil Fall Classic, highlighted by redshirt seniors Ava Kirunchyk and Samaya Morin winning their second-straight tournament.

Kirunchyk and Morin did not lose a single set all weekend en route to taking gold in the 1-3s division. They also won gold in the top division at the Wildcat Fall Classic last month. They will participate in the AVCA Beach Pairs National Championship this upcoming weekend.

Winning the 4-6s division, senior Arden Besecker and junior Kaydon Meyers took gold by beating fellow Arizona State teammates Zoë Taylor and Kristin Gilmour, who finished in second place. Lastly, freshman Tatum Hemenway and junior Addy White won the 7-9s division.

This upcoming weekend, the team will be busy. Two pairs are heading to the AVCA Pairs National Championship, Nov. 7-9 in Huntsville, Alabama. Kirunchyk and Morin will be competing, as well as graduate Reagan Hope and junior Olivia McElroy. The rest of the team will be playing at the Lopes Fall Classic on Nov. 8-9, hosted by Grand Canyon in Phoenix.
