ORLANDO, Fla. – Three reached double-digit kills as No. 9 Sun Devil Volleyball swept UCF (25-19, 25-18, 25-13) on the road for a fifth-straight win.

Notable stats

  • Arizona State (23-3, 14-1 Big 12) out-hit UCF (16-11, 7-9 Big 12) by a large margin, .406 to .131. This is the highest team hitting percentage this season.
  • The Sun Devil are one win away from clinching a share of the 2025 Big 12 Championship. One win and a loss from Kansas would give Arizona State the title outright. Without a loss from the Jayhawks, two victories would win outright.
  • Reaching the 23rd win of the season tonight, this season is now tied for the sixth-most wins in ASU history. It already is the third-most in a season this century. The 14 conference wins are tied for the second-most all-time (tied with 2023).
  • With 12 blocks tonight, ASU has had double-digit blocks in the last seven matches in a row. This season, they’ve had 17 matches with team blocks in double figures, including 12 of 15 Big 12 matches.
  • Three pin hitters reached double figures in kills, all hitting over .300. Senior outside hitter Bailey Miller led the way with 12, followed by 11 for both senior outside hitter Tatum Parrott and junior opposite Noemie Glover
  • Miller and Glover continued streaks of consecutive matches with double-digit kills. Miller’s is now at 11 in a row, and she neared a double-double tonight with nine digs. Glover’s streak is at 15 in a row.
  • For Parrott, this was her seventh match this year in double figures in kills, first since Oct. 18 at Utah. She added six digs as well.
  • Graduate middle blocker Colby Neal was perfect on offense tonight, going 8 for 8. She also had a match-high seven blocks. This was her eighth match with seven or more blocks this season.

Set one: ASU 25, UCF 19

The teams kept it close until the Knights scored five-straight points to lead 16-10 until a kill from Glover got the sideout. That sparked a run of five with Jillian Neal serving to cut it to a one-point deficit at 16-15. A 4-1 Sun Devil run that saw three kills from Parrott gave them the 19-18 lead. Set two: ASU 25, UCF 18

The set stayed close, but the Knights put together a 4-1 run to lead 14-13. A block from Kiylah Presley and Ella Lomigora capped off three-straight points for ASU to take back the lead, 16-14. Five in a row for the Sun Devils extended their lead to set point, 24-17, with kills from three different Devils. Colby Neal’s fifth kill won the set, 25-18.
