ATLANTA – In a rain-soaked day in Atlanta, the Arizona State men's golf team got some great play from Boston Bracken and some good play from Bowen Mauss and Connor Williams.
Monday's 18-hole stroke play portion was condensed to just nine holes due to a rain delay that pushed the start of play to 1:45 p.m. CT, but Bracken and Mauss -- both freshman -- showed solid signs of competing well with Golf Channel cameras on them.
Bracken shot a 1-under to lead the Sun Devils, who will take on Virginia at 7:40 a.m. ET in match play on Tuesday.
Golf Channel will provide live coverage beginning at noon AZT.
