Eight home games, including a pair of multi-team events, highlight the Sun Devil women's basketball team's 2025 non-conference schedule.
TEMPE – Eight home games, including a pair of multi-team events, highlight the Sun Devil women's basketball team's 2025 non-conference schedule, announced by first-year head coach Molly Miller on Monday.
“Our non-conference schedule is an opportunity to establish our identity, build chemistry, and set the tone for how we want to play,” said Miller, who in 2025 earned her third coach of the year award in the last seven seasons (2025 WAC COTY and 2019, 2020 WBCA Division II COTY). “These games will give our group valuable experience together including a tough three-game road stretch leading into Big 12 play.
“We’re excited for our fans to see this team take the floor and start writing the next chapter of Sun Devil Women’s Basketball. Our team is ready to hit the court with energy, toughness, and pride. Year one is about laying a strong foundation, and I’m really excited for fans to come watch our brand of basketball and cheer on our team this season.”
Season tickets, which start as low as $75 if purchased by Oct. 1, are now on sale for a season in which the Sun Devils will play 17 home games: eight non-conference and nine Big 12 contests. ASU will open the season on Mon., Nov. 3 at home vs. Coppin State. It will be the first time Sun Devil fans will have the opportunity to cheer on Miller’s first Sun Devil squad. On March 22, 2025, Miller agreed to join ASU as its next head coach. ASU hired a proven winner in Miller who guided Grand Canyon University to a 32-3 record in 2024-25, which included a 30-game winning streak and GCU’s first berth in the NCAA Women’s Tournament. In her four seasons at GCU, Miller was victorious in 76 percent of 155 games (117-38).
