Dave Murray Invitational in the books for Cross Country
Arizona State competed in its second of three regular season meets at the Dave Murray Invitational on Saturday morning
TUCSON – Sun Devil Cross Country took part in the annual Dave Murray Invitational on Saturday morning at Tucson Country Club. The team's saw strong performances from Dennis Rono and Mia Chavez to put a lid on the second of three regular season meets before heading into the postseason.

Rono and Chavez led the way for the men’s and women’s respective sides, as Rono posted a 25:00.8 in the men’s 8k run, while Chavez clocked in at 23:03.4 in the women’s 6k run to pace each squad.
Chavez, Boston Walseth (25:27.9, men’s 8k) and Kayla Case (23:11.8, women’s 6k) have now all finished in the top-20 in their respective events in back-to-back meets.
