FRANKLIN, Tenn. -- Sun Devil Women’s Golf embarks on its second tournament of the 2025-26 season as they head to Tennessee Sept. 19-21 to participate in the 2025 Mason Rudolph Championship hosted by Vanderbilt University. 

This year will be the 24th edition of the Mason Rudolph Championship, held annually at Vanderbilt Legends Club in Franklin. Four teams ranked in the top 25 of Golfweek’s preseason poll will take to the course. No. 5 ASU is the highest ranked, followed by No. 11 Vanderbilt, No. 16 North Carolina, and No. 21 Mississippi State. 

Beginning on Thursday’s practice round, the Sun Devils will go with the lineup of Patience Rhodes, Isla O’Brien McDonald, Paul Schulz-Hanssen, Beth Coulter, and Kate Dillon. Johanna Axelson will compete individually.

Last time out
The Sun Devils finished top-10 in the tournament, shooting 23 over par (887). Redshirt junior Patience Rhodes finished one-under, placing tenth in the field. Rhodes was fifth overall in birdies over the weekend with 15. In the final round, sophomore Isla McDonald-O’Brien made a strong push, and finished three-under (69) in the final round to place 19th overall. Out of three rounds, the team performed strongest in the final round, shooting 8 shots better than the first and second rounds. The team was efficient on the par 5’s shooting 14-under on such holes during the tournament.
