COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The NCHC announced its Preseason All-Conference Team for the 2025-26 season featuring Sun Devil Hockey sophomore center Cullen Potter manning the forward line. The 2025 Calgary Flames first round draft pick received 19 of the 30 total votes making him the fourth most selected player in the conference heading into the new season.

Potter finished his freshman campaign with 22 points as the Sun Devils reached the NCHC Frozen Faceoff in 2024-25. His 13-goal season ranked second among NCHC freshmen and helped earn him a spot on the NCHC All-Rookie Team.

The Minneapolis native spent this offseason representing the U.S. at the U-18 World Championships, scoring four goals and adding eight points in seven games. He was also taken 32nd overall in the 2025 NHL Draft to the Calgary Flames, becoming the hockey program’s highest draft pick and first NHL first-rounder in school history.
