LAKE ELMO, Minn. – Sun Devil Women’s Golf started off the 2025 fall season at the ANNIKA Intercollegiate in Minnesota. The Sun Devils finished top-10 in the tournament, shooting 23 over par (887).

Redshirt junior Patience Rhodes finished one-under, placing tenth in the field. Rhodes was fifth overall in birdies over the weekend with 15.

In the final round, sophomore Isla McDonald-O’Brien made a strong push, and finished three-under (69) in the final round to place 19th overall.

Out of three rounds, the team performed strongest in the final round, shooting 8 shots better than the first and second rounds. The team was efficient on the par 5’s shooting 14-under on such holes during the tournament.

For the third consecutive season, Sun Devil Women’s Golf is set to compete in the Mason Rudolph Championship starting September 19 in Franklin, Tennessee. Last season, they tied for fifth place in the tournament, and the Maroon and Gold hope for a third straight top-5 finish.
