Maurice Odum, Senior (The Bronx, NY/West Oaks Academy (FL))
- Transfer guard from Pepperdine
- Played two seasons at Pacific to start his career
- Four-star transfer prospect according to 247 Sports and On3 Sports
- Averaged 13.1 points, 7.5 assists, and 3.2 rebounds while shooting 38.2% from the 3-point line in 2024-25
- Finished fourth in the nation in assists per game in 2024-25
- Shot 79.3% from the line on 92 attempts
- 15+ points in 15 games
- 8+ assists in 20 games including eight double-digit assist performances
- Enjoyed a legendary run at the 2025 WCC Tournament, averaging 21.5 points and 9.3 assists helping Pepperdine reach the semifinal round

Adante' Holiman, Senior (McAlester, OK/McAlester HS - Transfer guard from Georgia Southern
- Spent one season each at UTSA and UTRGV
- Named to All-Sun Belt Conference Third Team in 25 games, starting 19, averaging a team-best 16.9 ppg along with 2.2 rebounds and 2.3 assists
- First Georgia Southern newcomer to land on an all-conference team since 2015
- Led Eagles with 81 made threes (11th most in school history, 4th-most by a junior) and 423 total points, shooting 38.6% from three, 41.8% from the field and a team-best 80% from the free-throw line
- Scored in double figures in all but three games and posted 20+ points 11 times in 2024-25
- Appeared in 20 games with UTSA in 2023-24, starting 16, averaging 7.5 ppg, 1.7 rebounds and 2.0 assists
- Three-time WAC Freshman of the Week honors while at UTRGV in 2022-23
- No. 1 prospect in the state of Oklahoma by ESPN coming out of McAlester HS
Bryce Ford, Junior (Scottsdale, AZ / Pinnacle) - Transfer guard from Toledo
- Spent the previous two season with the Rockets
- Started final 20 games of season and averaged 7.1 points and 2.8 rebounds over 21.8 minutes in 2024-25
- Ranked second on team with 37.2 3PT% (35-of-94) and 35 three-point FGs made
- Averaged 2.6 ppg in 8.4 mpg with a 46.0 FG% (23-of-50) and 46.2 3PT% (12-of-26) in 27 games as a true freshman in 2023-24
- Brother of former Sun Devil Volleyball player Alyse Ford (2018)
- Returning to the Valley of the Sun as a graduate Pinnacle High School
- Averaged 22.5 ppg, 5.0 rpg, 2.0 apg and 1.0 spg on his way to being named 2022 6A Desert Valley Region Offensive Player of the Year
Trevor Best, Sophomore (Wilson, NC/ Word of God Christian Academy (NC)) - One of two returners from the 2024-25 team
- Only player to have scored in a Sun Devil uniform
- Came on strong in 2024-25 after arriving in January
- Played in 11 games off the bench as a true freshman
- Averaged 3.6 points in 12.7 minutes per game
- Enjoyed a breakout game against BYU on 2/26, scoring 18 points on 5-of-8 shooting while adding a pair of assists and steals
Vijay Wallace, Junior (Chicago, IL/Dyett HS) - Junior college guard transfer with two years of eligibility remaining
- Spent the 2024-25 season at Triton College after beginning his collegiate career at Illinois Valley CC
- Averaged 15.7 points, 5.8 rebounds and 3.1 assists for Triton last season
- Played in 33 total games, starting 30 and reaching double figures scoring in 29
- Eight performances of 20+ points
- Efficient assist-to-turnover ratio of 101/48
- Added 36 steals and 24 blocks on the defensive end
- Double-digit free-throw attempts on five occasions
- Contributes in many ways, finishing with eight games with 8+ rebounds and eight with 5+ assists
- Triton College went 29-6 in his one season and made the second round of the NJCAA Division I Men's Basketball Championship
Quentin McCoy, Sophomore (Chicago, IL/Lindblom HS) - One of two returners from the 2024-25 team
- Played in six games as a reserve during his true freshman season
- Saw action in Arizona State's wins over San Diego on 12/3 and UMass on 12/21
Frontcourt
Marcus Adams Jr., Junior (Torrance, CA/Narbonne HS)
- Transfer forward from Cal State Northridge
- Spent his freshman season at BYU
- Four-star transfer prospect according to 247 Sports and On3 Sports
- Averaged 16.5 points and 4.9 rebounds for Cal State Northridge in 2024-25
- Earned All-Big West Second Team accolades
- Played in 32 games and making 20 starts
- Led the Matadors and ranked eighth in the Big West in points per game
- Finished sixth in the Big West in field goal percentage (52.6) and shot a team-leading 39.5% from three-point range
- Reached double figures in scoring in 26 games and surpassed 20 points in 11 games
- Originally committed to Kansas as a highly-touted recruit out of High School, but ended up attending BYU in 2023-24
- Received the John R. Wooden High School Player of the Year award for the L.A. City Section Open Division as a senior at Narbonne HS
- Named City Section's Open Division Co-Player of the Year in 2023
Allen Mukeba, Graduate (Charleroi, Belgium/Napa Christian School (CA)) - Transfer forward from Oakland University
- Spent his first two seasons at Division I level at UMKC
- Originally started his career at Colby Community College
- Averaged 14.6 points, 7.5 rebounds and 2.3 assists playing 31.0 minutes over 33 games in 2024-25
- Second Team All-Horizon League selection
- Shot 56.9% from the field and attempted 137 free throws
- Leading scorer and rebounder for Oakland
- Ranked in the Top-10 in the Horizon League in both points and rebounds
- Posted 19 points and seven rebounds against No. 1 Kansas to go along with 17 points and six rebounds against No. 23 Arkansas
- Added 46 blocks and 27 steals on the defensive end in 2024-25
- Played in 54 games in two years at UMKC, starting 24
- Averaged 8.2 points per game and 5.4 rebounds per game in his two seasons
- First Team Defensive All-Conference selection at Colby Community College
Santiago Trouet, Junior (Buenos Aires, Argentina/American Senior HS (FL)) - Transfer forward from the University of San Diego
- Played both of his collegiate seasons with the Toreros
- Averaged 8.7 points and 6.8 rebounds over 25.5 minutes in 33 games
- Earned 25 starts, solidifying his spot in the regular lineup by midseason
- Added 22 blocks and 33 steals on the defensive end in 2024-25
- 15 games with 10+ points and seven games with 10+ rebounds
- Five double-double performances
- Grabbed 20 rebounds against UCSD on 12/21, the third-most in a single game by a Torero and most in 42 years
- Posted 10 points on 5-of-8 shooting and six rebounds in 18 minutes when San Diego faced Arizona State in 2024-25
- Saw action in nine games during his true freshman season with San Diego
- Averaged 2.9 points and 4.7 rebounds in 13.6 minutes in 2023-24
Kash Polk, Freshman (Argyle, TX/Argyle HS) - The lone freshman that has arrived in Tempe
- A Top-250 prospect nationally in the 247 Sports' composite rankings, where he was slotted at No. 242
- No. 23 overall prospect in the state of Texas according to 247 Sports' composite rankings
- ESPN lists him as the No. 25 overall prospect in the state of Texas
- Identified as the No. 32 center prospect nationally by the ESPN recruiting rankings
- Listed as the No. 19 overall prospect in the state of Texas by On3 Sports
Big 12 Conference matchups
The Sun Devil men’s basketball team will play eight games against conference members that qualified for last season’s NCAA Tournament. Included among those eight games are home dates vs. Arizona, Kansas and Texas Tech. The Red Raiders came within one win of making the 2025 NCAA Final Four.
Included among ASU’s five road games against 2025 NCAA Tournament teams is a matchup against 2025 NCAA Runner-up Houston. The Cougars also claimed the 2025 Big 12 regular season championship and conference tournament.

Maui Invitational
The Maui Invitational announced that Sun Devil Men's Basketball will be a part of the highly competitive 2025 field. To be played at the historic Lahaina Civic Center Nov. 24-26, 2025, the 42nd annual tournament will feature eight premier college basketball programs. Arizona State will be joined in a highly talented field that also includes North Carolina State, Seton Hall, Texas, UNLV, USC, Washington State and host Chaminade.
Led by Head Coach and 1992 Maui Invitational co-MVP, Bobby Hurley, the Sun Devils have compiled a 155-131 record during his tenure, including three trips to the NCAA Tournament. Coach Hurley will be the third head coach to lead a team in Maui after winning the Tournament's MVP honors during their playing career (Hardaway/Wojciechowski).
The 2025 Maui Invitational will mark Arizona State's 6th appearance in the tournament (1991, 1994, 1998, 2002, 2007), compiling a 9-6 record during those visits, including winning the 1994 Maui Invitational with Bill Frieder as head coach in which standout power forward Mario Bennett received tournament MVP honors. During their most recent visit to Maui in 2007, NBA star James Harden led the Sun Devils to a 2-1 record where the freshman guard averaged 17 points/game.
