TEMPE – For the third time in program history, Sun Devil Beach Volleyball has a student-athlete on the CSC Academic All-District At-Large Team, with junior Tori Clement representing the squad.

Clement, a psychology major, had a 4.0 GPA. She is one of six Sun Devils to receive the honor this season. Student-athletes from men’s and women’s golf, lacrosse and gymnastics also earned all-district honors. The two other Sand Devils to have received this nod are Sarah Waters (2020-23) in 2023 and Biancao Arellano (2014-17) in 2017.

To be nominated for an all-district award, student-athletes must be a starter or important reserve with at least a 3.5 cumulative GPA (on a 4.0 scale). Academic All-District honorees advance to the CSC Academic All-America ballot. First- and second-team academic All-America honorees will be announced in late December. The award was previously from CoSIDA, but the organization recently changed the name to College Sports Communicators. For the complete list of honorees, head to CSC's website.

Junior Tori Clement put on a show at the bottom three courts this season, going 20-14. March 21 to April 4, she and junior Kendall Whitmarsh were unstoppable, winning a program record 11 games in a row. During that streak, they had five ranked wins, including an upset over then No. 10 Texas. Additionally, they had a stretch of four ranked wins in a row, earning them Big 12 Pair of the Week honors.
