BOULDER– After a blazing-hot start saw ASU (11-8) scoring four of the game's first five goals, Sun Devil Lacrosse fell 21-10 to No. 4 Florida (17-2) in the conference's inaugural Big 12 Championship in Boulder, Colorado. Jordyn Behar, Katie Vahle, Anna Viglione, and Lydia Oldknow were all named to the All-Tournament Team for their tournament efforts in Colorado.

The Sun Devils doubled their goal total against the Gators after scoring only five goals in the regular season meeting. The 10 goals were the most allowed by Florida to a conference opponent this season.

How it Happened:
The Sun Devils opened scoring with four of the first five goals in the contest. Florida battled back and went on a 4-1 scoring run to close out the frame and both teams were knotted at 5-5 after one quarter.

In the second quarter Florida tacked on seven goals to ASU's two and saw a 12-7 lead at the half.

Holding the Sun Devils scoreless until the eight minute mark of the fourth quarter, Florida managed a running clock. ASU tacked on three goals in the fourth quarter, but the comeback was too late and the 21-10 score stood final.
