TEMPE – Sun Devil Women's Tennis student-athletes Patricija Spaka, Sara Svetac and Emilija Tverijonaite were named to the College Sports Communicators' Academic All-District for their performances on and off the court the organization announced Tuesday.

These are the first CSC academic honors for all three Sun Devils after they were named ITA Scholar-Athletes after the conclusion of the 2024 season.

In doubles she went 18-12 (10-6 dual) and had a 10-4 record with freshman Lily Taylor at the No. 1 position. The duo earned a spot on the All-Big 12 Second Team. Studying psychology, Spaka finished her career with 70 doubles victories and three NCAA doubles championship appearances.

Svetac, a sophomore from Split, Croatia, tallied a 12-6 singles record during the spring playing from the No. 1 spot and went 13-9 in doubles at the No. 2 position. Studying business with an emphasis in financial planning, the sophomore earned a spot on the All-Big 12 First Team in singles play with a team best 7-1 record in conference play whilst earning a career best 20 wins in singles.
