BOULDER– As the three seed, Sun Devil Lacrosse (10-7, 3-2) will face two-seeded Colorado (8-7, 4-1), the inaugural Big 12 Tournament's host, in the semifinal round on Thursday, May 1 at 6 p.m. AZT at Prentup Field in Boulder, Colorado. The game can be viewed on ESPN+, and live stats are available via Stat Broadcast.

ASU dropped their first contest against the Buffs at home this season, facing a narrow defeat by one goal in one of four games decided by one goal for the Maroon & Gold this season. All time the Sun Devils are 3-9 against Colorado in 12 contests and have not beaten Colorado in Boulder since April 17, 2022 when the team won 16-8.

On Wednesday, the Big 12 announced its end-of-year awards and the Sun Devils were represented by two major awards, a quartet of Sun Devils on the All-Big 12 Team, and one member on the All-Newcomer Team for Sun Devil Lacrosse.

Anna Viglione was named the Big 12 Draw Specialist of the Year, followed by Bella Ingrao who was the Big 12 Scholar-Athlete of the Year, Kendal Morris who made the Newcomer Team, and a quartet of Sun Devils in: Jordyn Behar, Teagan Ng, Keeley Cleland, and Viglione on the All-Big 12 Team.

Sun Devil Outlook:
The Sun Devils wrapped up their regular season state with a 10-7 record  on the year after falling to No. 4 Florida  17-5 in the regular season finale last weekend.

ASU has a trio of Devils in the NCAA leaderboards, as Behar's 56 assists are 4th in the NCAA, and Anna Viglione's 195 draw controls are third in the league. Ng's 66 goals have her at 7th in the NCAA. Because of Viglione's dominance, ASU has the second most draw controls per game in the NCAA, averaging over 18 per game.

Scouting the Opponent:
Colorado finished the regular season with an 8-7 record, including a 5-3 record at home this season. Their win over ASU secured the two seed in the conference. The Buffaloes had the Big 12 Defender and Attacker of the Year followed by four All-Big 12 selections as well.

Sun Devil Notables:
  • ASU is averaging 15 goals per game, which is the second best mark in the Big 12, and the 14th-best mark in the NCAA.
  • Attacker Teagan Ng is four goals shy of the 70 mark this season, and has recorded 4.6+ goals in every Big 12 Conference game this season.
  • A win on Saturday would tie the program's single-season win total.
  • ASU's 18.24 draw controls per game are the second best in the NCAA and have them atop the Big 12 ranks.
  • Attacker Jordyn Behar is two points away from hitting the 100 mark in her career, 90 of which would have come in 2025.
