LEXINGTON, Ky. – Redshirt junior Samaya Morin earned AVCA Second Team All-America honors after a strong season with Sun Devil Beach Volleyball, the third Sand Devil in program history to be named an All-American.

For the second year in a row, Arizona State has had at least one All-American after having two last season (Daniella Kensinger and Ava Williamson). Morin is the third to receive the honor and third to be on the second team. This is her first All-America award in her career.

After missing her first season with ASU in 2024 due to injury, Morin came back strong in 2025, compiling a 17-9 record. She played mostly between the No. 1 and 2 courts, earning an 11-6 mark on the top court. She had five wins over pairs from ranked teams, including two top-10 wins over No. 7 Florida State (helping the team get the dual upset) and against No. 2 TCU. The win over the Horned Frogs' top pair came in the Big 12 Championship Finals. Morin and Ava Kirunchyk swept TCU's No.1 duo, the first time they had been swept all season. For her efforts, Morin and Kirunchyk were named to the Big 12 All-Tournament Team.
