As announced last night by Golf Channel, junior Michael Mjaaseth (Norway) has been selected to represent the International Team at the 2025 Arnold Palmer Cup. The tournament will be held June 5-7 at Congaree Golf Club in Ridgeland, South Carolina.
ABOUT THE PALMER CUP
The Ryder Cup style competition features the best men's and women's collegiate golfers against their international counterparts in an event that's been played annually since 1997, with the addition of the women's competition in 2018. Team USA leads the all-time series 14-12-1.
MICHAEL MJAASETH TAP-INS
Throughout his junior season, Mjaaseth has been slowly but surely climbing the leader board to finish higher and higher. His last three finishes have all been in the top-10, tied for third at the Big 12 Championship, eighth at the Thunderbird Collegiate, and fourth at the Maridoe Intercollegiate. Last summer, Mjaaeth also competed for the coveted U.S. Amateur trophy alongside two other Sun Devils.
