The NCAA announced the regionals and the field of 64 on Monday afternoon. The top 16 seeds were selected as regional hosts, and each regional featured four teams. The first and second rounds of the tournament commence this Friday, with super regionals beginning next Friday on May 9, followed by the national championship taking place in Waco, Texas on May 18.

If the Sun Devils emerge victorious in the first round they'll face No. 3 Michigan or Youngstown State in the second round on Saturday at 11 a.m. AZT/2 p.m. EST.

Prior to joining Arizona State last June, Jackson helped lead Princeton to the second round in the NCAA Tournament back-to-back years, including a 4-3 victory over Washington in 2024. The Sun Devils have made the second round of the NCAA Tournament four of the last five appearances.

The Sun Devils made the quarterfinals of the Big 12 Tournament, falling to No. 17 Oklahoma State 4-1 on April 18.

Before the Big 12 Tournament, the Sun Devils went 8-5 in Big 12 play and went 8-1 at Whiteman Tennis Center. The spring included victories over No. 15 Pepperdine, No. 29 San Diego and No. 37 TCU, including a three-match stretch of 4-0 victories over No. 59 Iowa State, West Virginia and Cincinnati in March.

SUPER SOPHOMORES
Sara Svetac and Emilija Tverijonaite made big steps in their second year, donning the maroon and gold by setting career highs for singles wins in their sophomore seasons. Tverijonaite has 23 wins this season, which is tied for the 10th most in program history for most singles wins in a year. From Lithuania, she qualified for the NCAA singles tournament in November and has reached 20+ wins in her first two seasons in Tempe.

Svetac set a career best 20 wins in singles play, including going 7-1 in Big 12 play against the top competition across the conference. She had a seven-match winning streak to cap off the regular season with a 7-4 record from the #1 spot in the spring. The Crotian also garnered a Big 12 Women's Player of the Week honor after clinching the upset victory over No. 15 Pepperdine.

FALL FLASHBACK
The NCAA Singles and Doubles championships took place this past fall, featuring sophomore Emilija Tverijonaite who became the first Sun Devil to compete in the NCAA Singles tournament since Ilze Hattingh in 2021. Tverijonaite went 12-2 during the fall and a third place finish in the ITA Southwest Regional to qualify.

SPARKY MILESTONES:
The senior is currently 11-4 in singles after playing from the #3 spot this season. Additionally, she won ten of her first 11 matches in doubles and racked up a 10-3 record in doubles alongside partner Lily Taylor throughout the spring.

From Latvia, Spaka has 133 wins as a Sun Devil between singles and doubles matches combined in her four years. Her 60 wins in singles play make her the 38th Sun Devil to reach 60+ career singles wins.
