GAINESVILLE– Sun Devil Lacrosse (10-6, 3-1) will wrap up the regular season slate taking on No. 4 Florida  (14-2, 4-0) in Gainesville on Saturday, March 26 at 7 a.m. AZT, and can be viewed on ESPN+. A win would tie the program's single-season win total and allow ASU to claim the Big 12 Conference Co-Championship title alongside Florida.

The Sun Devils have already clinched a berth in the inaugural Big 12 Tournament in Boulder, Colorado May 1-3, and will be either the two or three seed depending on the outcome of Colorado's game on Saturday. An ASU loss would have the team sitting in third, while an ASU win and Colorado loss would give ASU the two seed. Florida has clinched the No. 1 seed regardless of a win/loss because they hold the conference scoring margin tiebreak.

Sun Devil Outlook:
The Sun Devils have won their last two games, including the home finale against SDSU 23-12, putting up the most goals they've scored all season in the win last weekend.  The win was a program-record 7th win at home this season, and wrapped up the nine-game home slate.   Both Lydia Oldknow (attacker) and Anna Viglione (midfielder) earned Big 12 weekly honors after posting career numbers against the Aztecs.

ASU has a trio of Devils in the NCAA leaderboards, as Behar's 56 assists are 3rd in the NCAA, and Anna Viglione's 187 draw controls are second in the league. Ng's 64 goals have her at 4th in the NCAA. Because of Viglione's dominance, ASU has the second most draw controls per game in the NCAA, averaging over 18 per game.

Scouting the Opponent:
Florida is 14-2 and undefeated in Big 12 play and can clinch the Big 12 Title outright with a win on Saturday. The Gators have won 11 straight games dating back to March 8, and post a 6-1 record at home.

ASU has faced Head Coach Taryn Van Thof's former stomping grounds three times before and are winless in three contests. Current ASU assistant coach, Danielle Pavinelli, played for Florida, and is one of the best attackers in program history.

Sun Devil Notables:
  • ASU is averaging 15.63 goals per game, which is the best offensive mark in the Big 12, and the 14th best mark in the NCAA.
  • The Sun Devils are undefeated when playing on Saturday and have seven wins this season.
  • Attacker Teagan Ng is six goals shy of the 70 mark this season, and has recorded 5+ goals in every Big 12 Conference game this season.
  • A win on Saturday would tie the program's single-season win total
  • ASU's 18.56 draw controls per game are the second best in the NCAA and have them atop the Big 12 ranks.
  • Attacker Jordyn Behar is three points away from hitting the 100 mark in her career, 90 of which would have come in 2025.
