HILTON HEAD ISLAND, S.C. - Sun Devil Women's Golf completed the first day of the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate.
Competing at Long Cove Club in South Carolina, No. 8 Arizona State began their defense of the event title. The Sun Devils sit just three strokes back of the overall team lead after day one, which was featured on GOLF Channel. Head Coach Missy Farr-Kaye's team was led by Paula Schulz-Hanssen, who currently sits in a tie for sixth after 18 holes after shooting a 70 (-1). Patience Rhodes (+1/72) is also in the Top-15 and off to another great start.

"Really happy to see Paula have a good such a good day," Coach Farr-Kaye added. "She's really been close to getting a really good tournament in and Grace also played solid. 2024-25 Arizona State Women's Golf Schedule
Arizona State will be tested throughout the campaign as Coach Farr-Kaye built one of the nation's toughest slates once again. The Maroon and Gold will compete in a total of ten regular season events, five in the Fall and five in the Spring. The postseason begins April 15 at the Big 12 Championship, with NCAA Regionals and NCAA Championships scheduled for the month of May.
