On how the team played today:
"I thought we came out and really set the tone early. That's something we've been talking about all week. We felt like we really did that against UofA and it was something we wanted to continue into the weekend. I just feel like we're playing with a little more confidence and being super aggressive in everything we do. So just really proud of how we competed all day. Those are two teams that have had some really good wins and that fight for every point. For us to come in and have the results we did, I was very happy."
On the support from the fans:
"I love looking out and having our fans be here and supporting us. We really want to get the community involved and get our sport out there more. I want to pack this place and have all the bleachers full and have the other (ASU) teams around supporting us. So it was just fun to have cheering and the loudness and just knowing that our fans have our back."
Junior Tori Clement
On her mentality when going for rallies:
"I'm playing with an absolute baller, Kendall [Whitmarsh], so it's really reassuring stepping on the court and knowing that she's in the back of the sand behind me and any ball that comes to me or her, we can pop that up. We can put it back over, and I know that I have faith in us and our ability to get balls up. If we don't get the kill, they're either going to make a mistake or we're going to dig it right back. So we are grinding down for those long rallies, trusting how hard we condition. It's great to play with her and have that faith in a partner."
On the home atmosphere:
"I love it, it's amazing. As a team, we really loved the energy from the crowd. We're doing more cheers on the sidelines and the fans are amazing. I'm really proud to be a Sun Devil, and it's great to see everyone with their forks up, cheering on the sidelines, throwing sand. It's unbelievable and it's a dream come true."
