The third-ranked Sun Devil men's golf team had a solid tournament in Florida finishing second at the Valspar Collegiate Invitational held at the Floridian National Golf Club in Palm City, and now takes its show to the Maridoe Invitational March 31-April 1.
Second-ranked Texas won the Valspar title, with third-ranked ASU finishing second in a 16-team field that included five top-10 teams.
There were seven five top-ten teams in the field, led by top-ranked Auburn. Texas (second), ASU (third), Oklahoma (seventh) and North Carolina (eight) also are competing.
