HOUSTON – Sun Devil Lacrosse (7-3) could not claim the win over Dartmouth (5-3) in Friday's Lone Star State neutral matchup. A 10-2 run from the Big Green in the second half allowed them to pull away with the 20-10 victory and snap ASU's four-game win streak.

For just the third time this season, ASU was out drawn by their opponent. The 20 goals allowed is the second most the team has allowed this season. Despite the loss, The Sun Devils remain four games over .500.

How it Happened:
After scoring the first goal of the game 30 seconds into the first quarter, ASU saw a lead just once in the ensuring 59 minutes. The only other lead came after Jordyn Behar's goal had the Sun Devils up 4-3. Dartmouth held on to a 6-5 lead at the end of one.

The two teams traded goals in the second quarter, with ASU putting three on the board, and Dartmouth tallying four.

In the highest-scoring quarter for the Big Green, the designated home team scored seven of the eight goals in the frame— all coming after ASU opened the quarter with a goal. The Dartmouth lead was 17-9 after three.

Following an eight-goal quarter, the fourth quarter saw just four goals: one from the Sun Devils and three from Dartmouth. ASU fell 20-10 at the final buzzer.

  • ASU was out drawn for just the third time this season.
  • Junior attacker Lydia Oldknow extended her point-scoring streak to 28 games, dating back to the 2024 season opener, after three goals in today's contest.
  • ASU is 0-2 at neutral sites in 2025.
