UNLV got on the board in the sixth, but Lillian Holtje drove in Grace Molitor to wrestle back the three-run advantage in the bottom of the inning.

Kenzie Brown was dominant during her six innings in the circle, punching out 10 batters while not allowing a hit until the sixth inning. Meika Lauppe relieved Brown in the seventh and closed out her second save of the year with a game-ending double play.

On Kenzie Brown's impressive work on the mound

"She's one of the best in the game right now. She has a lot of tools to beat you with. Great velocity, very good command of what she does and she doesn't get sped up. I'm just really happy she's a Sun Devil."

On the upcoming series against No. 10 Arizona
"I'm certainly excited to see what it will be with these young ones because they're going to get their first taste of a really big rivalry. It's one of the best in the country, and those games are so fun to be a part of. I'm excited for the challenge."
