TEMPE – It's not deja vu, No. T8 Water Polo faces off against No. 10 Indiana again for conference play at Mona Plummer Aquatic Center on Mar. 22 at 1 p.m. The game will be broadcast on Overnght and live stats will be available on 6-8 sports. 

This matchup comes as the second time the two teams have played one another this season, an earlier showing in February at the Barbara Kalbus Invitational. The Sun Devils took the 14-12 dub in the previous match with an overtime thriller. 

SUN DEVIL OUTLOOK
No. T8 Arizona State (16-5, 0-2 MPSF)
  • The Sun Devils hold a 7-3 record in their last 10 games, outscoring their opponents 145-113 over that stretch.
  • ASU has seven ranked wins this season, and all five of their losses have come against ranked opponents. 
  • Millie Quin continues to lead the team in goals, with 66, while Itziar Almeda leads in assists, with 28. Quin and Almeda are both in the Top-3 for multiple stat categories. 
  • In the last matchup with Indiana, ASU was led by Almeda and Quin, who tallied 4 and 6 goals respectively. 
OPPONENT OUTLOOK
No. 10 Indiana (12-6, 0-2 MPSF)
  • Indiana went 4-0 at the Aztec Invite last weekend, picking up three ranked wins to increase their season total to nine. 
  • The Hoosiers finished the season with a 21-10 record, closing out MPSF play with a 1-6 mark. They fell in the 5th place game of the MPSF Championships to ASU. 
  • Indiana is 6-4 in their last 10 games, and have been outscored 132-123. 
  • The Sun Devils and the Hoosiers have a storied history, having played each other 22 times between 2003 and 2025. The Sun Devils lead the all-time series by a large margin, 19-3. ASU has won the last four, and had a 15-match win streak from 2008 to 2023. 
MPSF STAT LEADERS
Millie Quin continues to top multiple stat categories for the MPSF. She sits in second for goals at 72 and points at 91. She is also fifth in steals with 26. Freshman Itziar Almeda is one of two underclassmen that represent the Sun Devils in the rankings. She currently sits in seventh for assists with 29. Freshman goaltender Keri Glad has a 61.96% save percentage which is fifth in the MPSF and sits in sixth for saves with 101. Sanne Keijzer is close behind at eighth with 72 saves. Senior Marie Rudasics is second for her save percentage at 67.31%. 

LAST TIME OUT
The Sun Devils have had a two week break since the last time they dove into the pool. Facing off against No. 1 Stanford, the Sun Devils were unsuccessful in upsetting number one. Quin, Almeda, and Sophie Shorter-Robinson combined for 12 points, but ultimately fell short of the win. Goaltender Sanne Keijzer allowed 18 goals for the Cardinal while making 9 saves. 

HISTORY VS THE HOOSIERS (19-3)
It hasn't been too long since the Sun Devils and Hoosiers have gone head-to-head in regular season play. The two programs faced one another at the Barbara Kalbus Invitational in February when ASU was able to pull off the overtime victory to ultimately claim ninth place in the tournament. The Sun Devils lead the all-time history with 19 wins to the Hoosiers three and have won nine of the last ten matches. Arizona State has played Indiana at least twice every season since 2015.
