TEMPE – Sun Devil Beach Volleyball is holding the annual Maroon and Gold Scrimmage on Saturday at 10 a.m. MST at the Sun Devil Beach Volleyball Facility, previewing the 2025 squad in this free event.
This is the first time the 2025 team will be seen by the public, a team that features eight who played significant time in 2024 and seven newcomers. The scrimmage will see pairs face off against each other in a dual format.
Led by first-year ASU head coach Kristen Glattfelder (formerly Rohr), Arizona State had a stellar season in 2024. In the final season as a member of the Pac-12, the team went 21-10 (5-5 Pac-12) and made it to the NCAA Tournament for the first time, earning a No. 12 seed. The 21 wins tied the ASU record for wins in a season. ASU also had All-Americans on the roster for the first time in Daniella Kensinger and Ava Williamson.
