Part of the program's Spring Kickoff Weekend, the free event for fans features numerous former Sun Devil National Champions, All-Americans, MLB and NFL Draft standouts and more. The field is highlighted by such Sun Devil household names as Spencer Torkelson, Graham Rossini, Kole Calhoun, Jaelen Strong and more. A special surprise guest will also make an appearance to lead off the event.

The Alumni/Celebrity game will be followed by an intrasquad scrimmage featuring the 2025 Sun Devil Baseball team and an autograph session with the team following that. Admission and parking are free to the public. Gates open at 11 a.m. AZT and introductions for the Alumni/Celebrity Game will begin at 11:45 a.m.

Spencer Torkelson (Baseball, 2018-20) -- No. 1 Overall Pick in the 2020 MLB Draft by the Detroit Tigers, becoming first position player undrafted out of high school to be the top pick since 1995...Second in ASU history with 54 career home runs and would easily have set the career record (57) if the 2020 season had not been cut short after 17 games... bat .337 in his career with 130 RBIs, 152 runs scored, 33 doubles and 54 long balls. He slugged a an incredible .729 over his career – also just shy of Mitch Jones school record .731 from 1999-2000. He struck out just 104 times in his career while walking 110 times
Graham Rossini (Baseball, Class of 2002, '11 MBA) -- Arizona State University Athletics Director...Spent five years as ASU's Director of Baseball Operations prior to a successful 13-year career with the Arizona Diamondbacks as Vice President of Special Projects & Fan Experience...He was involved in two College World Series teams, two Pac-10 championships, and recruiting five top-five signing classes...
Kevin Tillman (Baseball, 1997-99) -- Former professional baseball player who left the Cleveland Guardians organization after September 11, 2001 to enlist in the United States Army... With his brother, former National Football League star Pat Tillman, he completed training for the elite Army Ranger school in late 2002, and were assigned to the second battalion of the 75th Ranger Regiment in Fort Lewis, Washington...Both Pat and Kevin Tillman were deployed to the Middle East as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom...Bat .386 for the Sun Devils in 1997 over 35 games and was a 31st Round selection in the 1999 MLB Draft...
Jeff Larish (Baseball, 2002-05) -- Finished his career as one of the most prolific power hitters in school history... ranks third in the ASU record books with 51 career home runs... played in 223 career games while making 221 starts... combined to hit .333 (283-for-849) with 57 doubles, six triples, 235 RBI and 200 walks..recorded at least one hit in 170 of 223 career games (76%) and recorded 87 career multi-hit games... 2003 Consensus All-American.. Carter Aldrete (Baseball, 2017-19) -- Finished with 171 hits and 107 RBIs in his career at ASU, with 15 home runs and 35 doubles – reaching double-digits in the category in each of his three seasons...Drafted by the Giants in the 15th Round of the 2019 MLB Draft after leading the Sun Devils to a Regional berth...
Doug Schutt (Baseball, 2002) -- Played one season for the Sun Devils in 2002 before spending several seasons at Indy Ball where he racked up 178 stolen bases between 2003-06 and reached base at a .374 clip...
Jaelen Strong (Football, 2013-14) -- Tallied four All-American Awards in 2014, including Sporting News All-American (Second team), Sports Illustrated All-American (Second Team), CBS Sports All-American (Second Team) and ESPN.com All-American... Biletnikoff Semifinalist...Recorded 82 receptions in his final season, good for third in the Arizona State record books at the time for a single season effort...His 1,165 yards receiving this year placed him fifth for single season yardage marks as a Sun Devil at the time...Record 157 catches in just two years at ASU - fifth in ASU history at the time..Selected with the 70th overall pick of the 2015 NFL Draft...
D.J. Foster (Football, 2012-15) -- Appeared in all 53 games during his four-year career...One of just five players in NCAA Division I history at the time to rush AND receive for more than 2,000 yards in their career...Finished his career with 222 receptions, second most in school history, and 2,458 receiving yards, sixth most in school history at the time...Recorded at least one reception in all 53 games he played in, the longest streak in Pac-10/12 history at the time...Tallied 4,829 all-purpose yards, including 2,458 receiving yards and 2,355 rushing yards...Scored 32 touchdowns, including 18 rushing and 14 receiving... Two-time All-Pac-12 honoree and 2012 freshman All-American Currently Sun Devil Football's Manager of Player Development...
Kyle Williams (Football, 2016-19) - Finished his career with a reception in 41 consecutive games, which was tied for the third-longest streak in ASU history...He finished with the sixth-longest streak of games with a reception in the Pac-12 since 1996...Williams' 161 catches in his career put him in seventh place on the ASU career receptions list at the time... Bill Kajikawa Award Winner... Stepped away from football to enroll in medical school in 2022...
Kyle Dodd (Basketball, 1999-2003) - Played more minutes than any other Sun Devil from 1999-2003, averaging 20.7 minutes per game in his four seasons and 122 games...had 306 assists and just 105 turnovers, a 2.91-to-1 ratio and averaged only one turnover every 24.1 minutes. Participated in the 2003 NABC Slam Dunk Championship at the Final Four and had eight dunks in game...Led Pac-10 in assist-to-turnover ratio (4.72) in overall games and also led the loop in the 18 Pac-10 games (5.85) in his senior year... Has served as color analyst for the Sun Devil men's basketball team since 2011...
Mickey Mitchell (Basketball, 1999-2003) - Battled back from injuries in the 2019-20 season and played in 23 games, starting in 11, averaging 15.6 minutes per game and grabbing 22 offensive rebounds... Spent three seasons playing professional basketball in Japan and Bosnia...Currently the Director of Operations for Sun Devil Men's Basketball after originally being added to the staff as the Player Personnel/Recruiting & Analytics Special Assistant in 2022...Received his Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies in May of 2019...
Breanna Macha (Softball, 2015-18) - Local product that ended her ASU career with 54 wins while striking out 384 batters... The 54 wins moved Macha ahead of Carrie Breedlove (1995-98) for 11th- in ASU career-wins at the time, while her 387 strikeouts ranked 10th in Sun Devil softball history upon graduation...All-Pac-12 selection her junior season...Posted a 2.87 ERA and 2.72 ERA in her junior and senior seasons with just a .222 OBA her final year...Returned to her alma mater, Mesa Red Mountain, where she is currently head coach of the softball team and a strength and conditioning coach for the school after earning her bachelor's degree from ASU in exercise and wellness...
Kelsey Kessler (Softball, 2016) - Posted a 3.79 ERA with 16 wins in her lone season in Tempe, striking out 191 batters on the year - good for 19th in ASU single-season history...Finished her career at Cal State Fullerton, where she was a 2017 NFCA All-West Region First Team selection making 37 appearances with 26 starts with a 20-9 record and a career-low 1.90 ERA...Went on to compete for the Venezuelan National Team...
Eric Sim (Social Media Influencer) - Colloquially known as the @KingOfJuco, Sim is is a South Korean–born baseball YouTuber and former baseball player for the Giants minor league teams and the independent-league Winnipeg Goldeyes. He was drafted by the Giants in the 27th round of the 2010 MLB Draft out of the the University of South Florida...Following his pro career, Sim became a social media sensation in the baseball scene where his content consists of videos containing different challenges, accomplishments, collaborations, recreations, as well as other topics...His YouTube channel @KingOfJuco features nearly 1 million subscribers and he regulary receives over a million views on his videos while also posting six-digit followers on X and Instagram...
Zach Lind (Professional Drummer) - Lind is a founding member and drummer for Jimmy Eat World, an American rock band formed in 1993 in Mesa, Ariz., which produced the Platinum-award winning album Bleed American in 2001 and the Gold-certified Futures in 2004...The band's hit song "The Middle" charted at No. 1 in 2001...Lind's father, Jack, played for legendary Sun Devil baseball head coach Bobby Winkles in the 1960s...

Kole Calhoun (Baseball, 2009-10) - Played in 125 games for the Sun Devils, posting a career .317 average with 112 RBIs, 29 homers and 28 hits...Co-captain closed out his Sun Devil career with another tremendous season, earning First Team All-Pac-10 honors and All-West Region honors from the ABCA...Calhoun was selected by the Angels in the eighth round (264th overall) of the 2010 MLB draft and went on to collect over 1,000 career hits in over a decade of action in professional baseball - the majority coming with the Angels organization...Known as the "Mayor of Omaha," he was named to the 2009 All-College World Series team after hitting .563 with three home runs and 11 RBI in that year's College World Series, and is one of only four Sun Devils to ever hit a grand slam at Rosenblatt Stadium in Omaha, Neb. Calhoun earned his BIS degree from Arizona State University and graduated on May 15, 2010...Hails from Buckeye High School, the same school that produced current Sun Devil and 2024 Freshman All-American and Pac-12 Freshman of the Year Brandon Compton...
Ryan Bader (Wrestling, 2001-06) - Was a three-time Pac-10 Champion, winning titles in 2003, 2004, and 2006..He was also a two-time NCAA All-American, placing fourth in 2004 as a sophomore and seventh in 2006 as a senior... From 2003 to 2005, Bader compiled a collegiate wrestling record of 88 wins and 34 losses... Went on to win the eighth season of The Ultimate Fighter en route to a 31-8-1 MMA professonal fighting record...He is the current Bellator Heavyweight Champion and former Light Heavyweight Champ...
Jordan Simone (Football, 2013-15) - Joined the program as a walk-on prior to the 2013 season, earned a scholarship on Aug. 21, 2014, solidified a starting spot at safety by the third game of 2014, garnered All-Pac-12 honors by the end of the season, named a team captain on May 5, 2015, and was a semifinalist for the Jim Thorpe Award on Oct. 26, 2015...Two-time All-Pac-12 Honorable Mention ..Recorded 191 career tackles, including 148 solo, 13.5 for loss and five sacks..Tallied four career interceptions with 38 return yards, and added eight pass deflections, two fumble recoveries and one forced fumble..Led the team in tackles per game in consecutive seasons with 9.1 in 2015 and 8.3 in 2014..Graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice/Criminology in December 2015...
Damarious Randall (Football, 2013-14) - His 85 solo tackles in 2014 were fifth all-time among Sun Devil defenders at the time...finished his two-year ASU career with 177 tackles, including 133 solo, and added 15 tackles for loss, four forced fumbles and 18 passes defended...Earned First Team All-Pac-12 honors and was a Sports Illustrated All-American Honorable Mention in 2014...Selected by the Green Bay Packers with the 30th overall selection in the 2015 National Football League draft to become the 24th Sun Devil to be drafted in the first round of the NFL draft and the first since linebacker Terrell Suggs in 2003... Randall was the fourth defensive back in school history selected in the first round, the first since Craig Newsome in 1995 and the highest pick since Mike Haynes went fifth in 1976..
Jake Sheffield (Football, 2012-13) - Played in 22 games including 13 his senior year...Recored nine tackles, eight of which were solo...Joined the Sun Devils after serving as a corporal in the United States Marine Corps, including two combat tours in Iraq...Assigned to Golf Battery, 2nd Battalion, 11th Marines...
Seth Martinez (Baseball, 2014-16) - Ended his career with a 16-6 record and a 3.50 ERA in 46 appearances for the Devils...Pac-12 All-Conference, First Team and Louisville Slugger All-American, Second Team as a junior in 2016 where he notched a 9-4 record with a 2.75 ERA while striking out 94 and walking 35...He recorded 186 strikeouts in 244 innings pitched in three seasons before being drafted by the Oakland Athletics in the 17th round of the 2016 MLB First-Year Player Draft before being selected by the Astros in the 2020 Rule 5 Draft...Starting the 2022 by hurling 17 scoreless innings with the Astros, finishing with a 2.09 ERA in 29 games over 38 2/3 innings...Pitched a career high 44 games in 2024 for the Astros, helping lead the team to a playoff berth this last season with a 3.59 ERA in 52 2/3 innings...
Michael Benjamin (Baseball, 2011-13) - A Collegiate Baseball third team All-American following his junior season in 2013, where he bat .335 with eight homers, 20 doubles and 47 RBIs...Finished his career with a .324 average over 134 games with 124 starts...Drafted in the 13th round of the 2013 MLB Draft by the Rockies...Son of former Sun Devil All-American and 13-year Big Leaguer Mike Benjamin, who also served as an Assistant Coach for the Sun Devils
Andrew Aplin (Baseball, 2010-12) - Earned Pac-12 All-Conference honorable mention recognition following his junior season where he was first on the team and fourth in the Pac-12 in runs scored (52)...Bat .309 over three seasons and 146 games for the Sun Devils, recording eight homers, nine triples and 28 doubles..Selected by the Houston Astros in the fifth round, with the 159th overall selection, of the 2012 MLB Draft and spent seven seasons in professional baseball...
Chip Gosewisch (Baseball, 1996-99) - Finished his career with a .338 career average with 103 RBIs over 160 games...Selected in the 30th Round of the 1999 MLB Draft by the Angels...Teammate of Sun Devil head coach Willie Bloomquist and brother of former Sun Devil and Arizona Diamondbacks catcher Tuffy Gosewisch...Currently the head strength and conditioning coach at the Fischer Institute in Phoenix and Co-Founder of PMR Performance...
Kyle Luckham (Baseball, 2022) - Led the team in innings pitched (86.2), ERA (4.36) and WHIP (1.40) in his one season with the Sun Devils...Had six starts in which he went 7.0+ innings, recording quality starts in five of those - a team high...He easily led the team with six quality starts over the year, including capping off the season with a 6.0 IP effort with just two runs allowed against third-ranked Stanford in the Pac-12 Tournament...Luckham induced a team-best 13 double play balls...Selected in the 15th Round of the 2022 MLB Draft by the Nationals...
Aaron Simpson (Wrestling, 1995-98) - A two-time All-American with the Sun Devils, Simpson placed fourth at the 1998 NCAA meet and eighth in 1996, both at 177 pounds...During his Sun Devil career, he collected 110 career wins for 12th on the ASU all-time chart. Simpson also ranks eighth in career dual victories with 53...Simpson concluded his ASU career with a stellar senior season in 1997-98, posting a 34-4 slate that included a perfect 20-0 dual mark. He also was ranked second in the nation for the much of the year...Would coach the Sun Devils as an assistant for a decade, leading the likes of Ryan Bader, C.B. Dolloway and Cain Velasquez to All-America honors...Posted a 12-5 record at the MMA level, including in the UFC...The silver medalist at 187 pounds in the 1997 Pan-American Games and competed at the 2000 and 2004 U.S. Olympic Team Trials...
Blake Stauffer (Wrestling, 2011-16) - A four-time NCAA qualifier and 2015 All-American at 184 pounds, finishing fourth... Won back-to-back Pac-12 titles at the weight as a junior and senior...Recorded over 100 victories in his career...His 37 victories in 2014-15 are 17th in program history and his 106 career victories are 22nd...His 44 bonus point wins are 15th in program history and his 14 tech falls are sixth...
Amber Freeman (Softball, 2012-15) - Freeman was a standout catcher at Arizona State from 2012-15, earning NFCA All-American honors three times and was named the 2013 Pac-12 Player of the Year...She remains ranked fourth in ASU history with 56 career home runs and fifth with 197 career RBI and 46 career doubles... Freeman also earned 2015 Pac-12 Scholar-Athlete of the Year honors and was a two-time Academic All-American... Freeman was picked by the USSSA Pride as the 11th overall pick in the 2015 NPF Draft... She also was a member of the 2010 Pan-American U-18 gold medal team, the 2011 ISF Junior World Champion team, and the 2013 World Cup silver medal team with USA Softball...
Talor Haro (Softball, 2009-12) - Haro ranked 10th in batting average (.346) upon the completion of her career... Finished her time at ASU playing in 212 games with 162 hits, 117 runs scored, 12 doubles, 53 RBI and a .346 batting average...Named 2012 Pac-12 All-Conference Honorable Mention and Honorable Mention Pac-12 All-Academic...Named NFCA Second Team All-West Region as a junior... A 2011 National Champion with the Sun Devils...
Laura Bradley (Softball, 2012) - Played one season for the Sun Devil Softball team, serving as a back-up catcher and helping ASU advance to the Women's College World Series...
