TEMPE-- This week it was announced that Sun Devil Triathlon was named a Scholar All-American Team by the College Triathlon Coaches Association (CTCA) for their academic excellence during the Fall 2024 semester. Five student-athletes also were recognized for their GPA along with a top-21 finish in their division.
The Sun Devils were one of 33 teams to achieve a roster GPA of 3.2 or greater in the fall after finishing the term with a 3.65 GPA.
Aside from the team recognition, a quartet of Sun Devils were named Individual Scholar All-Americans for earning a GPA of 3.5 or higher and finishing in the top 20 within their division at the National Championship. This group included Naomi Ruff, Amber Schlebusch, Sidney Clement, and Alice Alessandri.
Faith Dasso was named Scholar All-American Honorable Mention after earning a GPA of 3.5 or higher, but finishing outside the top 20 of their division in the National Championship.
